Nerve pain is a result of nerve damage. If you experience tingling, pins and needles, sensitivity and burning or shooting pains in your hands, arms, legs and feet, you may be suffering from nerve pain.
The most common cause of neuropathy (nerve pain) is diabetes which for one, is caused by elevated sugar levels.
Pay attenion to pain. The pain, sensitivity or numbness may make it difficult or nearly impossible to walk, climb stairs nd exercise. Ignoring nerve pain can also lead to insensitivity to pain.
If you are overweight, have high blood pressure, high cholesterol or had had diabetes for more than 25 years, see your doctor to map out a plan to control these conditions.
Diabetes and foot care should include sessions of reflexology, visits to a podiatrist, washing your feet daily and drying well particularly between the toes, make sure shoes fit, look for cuts, blisters, redness, calluses or ingrown toenails, keep toenais trimmed, don't go barefoot and get some reflexology (if I didn't make that clear).
Reflexology encourages oxygen, blood, and lymph to move through the body, assisting in proper circulation. Regular sessions of relfexology help chronic circulatory issues.
Diabetes affects circulation in the body. The supply of blood does not easily reach the nerves in the feet and hands causing burning pain, unpleasant tingling, even lack of feeling to these extremities. Reflexology encourages circulation.
Give your BODY what it needs: healthy water, clean air, good food, proper supplementation, moderate exercise, sufficient rest and of course reflexology.
The application of pressue to specific reflexes on the feet - particularly the kidneys and adrenals - promotes circulation, reduces stress and helps restore EQUILIBRIUM.
